Warwick's year as Mayor of Kensington and Chelsea
Warwick Lightfoot was Mayor of Kensington and Chelsea in 2005-06. He transformed the traditional civic role by holding a series of seminars and discussions on the big issues that challenge London. The subjects discussed included the future of London government, the success of London's financial markets and the threats posed to London by climate change.

As Mayor Warwick Lightfoot supported several local charities. They included the West London Homeless Project that helps people sleeping rough in the winter and Cruse the charity that helps bereaved people. To raise awareness of Cruse he held a charity dog show. In these pictures he was being photographed to promote the dog show with two very good natured golden retrievers. |
