WARWICK LIGHTFOOT: COMMITTED TO BETTER QUALITY PUBLIC TRANSPORT |

|
- A Mayor who will expect Transport for London to manage its employee relations more professionally in order to tackle strikes and threatened stoppages on the Underground. This may need a review of the framework of law on employee relations in essential public services.
- We need better value for money from the investment in the underground and real results. So far we have little to show for the billions of pounds spent.

- We need local waste management polices that encourage recycling.
|
WARWICK LIGHTFOOT: LONDON'S OLYMPIC GAMES |

|
- The Olympic Games should ‘showcase’ London to the world.
- The legacy of the Olympic Games should be a an Olympic village that Londoners will be able to use in the future and will be proud of when the games are over.
- The Olympic legacy should include better sports facilities and swimming pools throughout London so that we have a fitter, more active and healthier London.

|
WARWICK LIGHTFOOT: A MAYOR FOR ALL POSTCODES WHO WILL WORK WITH EVERYONE FOR LONDON |

|
- We need a mayor who will work with the London Boroughs not against the London Boroughs.
- We need an advisory senate of London Boroughs Leaders.
- A Mayor who will work together with everyone in the interest of all Londoners.
- We need better policies to protect and develop the suburban communities in outer London. There needs to be better use of suburban stations and better orbital bus routes in outer London.
